Bessel Contemporary grew out of the internet. As a well-fed artist with a moderate online presence, Eric Bessel discovered several other people who answered to the same name. There was the old beekeeper, the successful development manager, and the young burglar / assailant.
In an effort to distinguish himself from the others, Bessel Contemporary was created as the living estate of artist Eric Bessel. The website features a sampling of photographs, mixed media, and collaborative artworks. Meanwhile, the studio space serves as a live/work/showroom.
